3-Point Mount 120’ and 132’ Boom New from Fast Distributing

Fast Distributing releases the new Fast Model 953P three-point hitch mount spray boom for tractors.  This boom system has been designed with a new live hydraulic anti-yaw cushioning system.   This new hydraulic yaw system absorbs the unforgiving movements of three-point hitches on both wheeled and rubber tracked tractors.  The booms are allowed to flex forward and back against a preset live hydraulic pressure system relieving stress from the mechanical structure of the boom system.   After the sudden movements of the three-point are minimized the booms center themselves automatically to the correct spraying position.             

Fast has been manufacturing three-point booms systems for a number of years and realized that the longer booms would need a cushioning system.  Boom sizes are now available up to one hundred and thirty-two feet with various nozzle spacings.  Boom arms fold forward into cradles for transport.  

“Our customers have been looking for a self-propelled row crop sprayer that won’t leave ruts in the field.  This boom system on a tracked tractor, teamed up with our inboard supply tanks will give you a high floatation self-propelled sprayer.  We’ve done extensive testing mounting our boom system on track tractors and are very happy with the results,” says Verlyn Fast owner of Fast Distributing.  

Other options for the Fast Model 953P include Raven and Ag Leader auto rate controllers, Raven and Norac automatic boom height controllers, Hypro and Ace Hydraulic driven high performance pumps, automatic boom section controllers, foam markers, and various ground speed sensors.  A Fast Model 953P with 120’ boom, plumbed with triple nozzle bodies, four electric shutoffs and four inline strainers lists for about $34,000.00.

Fast Introduces New Model 9500 Pull-Type Sprayer

Fast Distributing releases the new Fast Model 9500 pull-type sprayer.  This high clearance high capacity sprayer uses the new (patent pending) STEALTH STYLE TANK.  This exclusive tank has been designed from the ground-up by Fast Distributing engineers and is available in 1,800 and 2,400 gallon capacities.   The design of this tank lowers the center of gravity, improves the rear road visibility, provides easy access to the forward design fill-well and allows for the 60”-120” dual wheel option.  Standard is a trough drop-down sump, 3” drain fitting, dual jet induction agitators and hinged lid.   The compact design of this tank allows the use of a short wheel base trailer that minimizes trailer drift, (dog tracking) on side hill applications and at headlands.

A reengineered center pivot & center section design has also been incorporated into the new Model 9500 that takes the Fast boom ride to a new level.  Boom sizes are available from 60’ to 100’ with no-drip nozzle outlets at various spacings. Other standard features on the Fast Model 9500 include powder coat baked on paint, a high performance high pressure product pump, simple-to-use stream-lined plumbing system, 100 gallon rinse system, Raven 450 controller, adjustable axle from 61” to 120”, 2” bottom fill and numerous tire and rim options.

Fast Introduces New Model 94FM Sprayer - Take a Look at the VIDEO

New from Fast Distributing is the Fast Model 94FM (Front Mount) Sprayer.  This ergonomically designed boom system allows the operator to monitor boom performance without compromising the steering attention needed in row crop applications.  Mounting the boom up front allows the operator to stay focused ahead of the sprayer to anticipate and correct for varying field conditions.   Operator fatigue and stress are minimized. No more stiff necks and sore backs that are commonly associated with the twisting and turning needed to monitor rear-mount boomed sprayers.

The Fast Model 94FM is available in 80, 88, 90 and 100 foot boom lengths.  These sizes can also be folded over and used in the 60 foot position.  The center section starts out with 7” x 7” x 3/8” wall steel tubing with the boom arms using 5” x 3” tubing.  A quick mount design allows easy removal from the tractor frame with parking stands and road lights standard.  As always all Fast manufactured parts are coated with durable baked-on powder coat paint.

The 1000 gallon poly solution tank is mounted in a heavy-duty saddle and frame that quick attaches to the tractor three-point hitch.   Features of tank include a deep trough sump, 2” bottom fill, dual induction jet agitators, baffled, dual rinse balls and a five gallon fresh water safety tank.
